TUESDAY TALKS: What is the longest series you have read?

This is set up by the wonderful Janie over at Bookworms Buddy, and Janelle at MrsJRodsReads. This really fun-to-do segment is basically, as the name implies, a talk each Tuesday about a book-related topic.

And this week's topic is:

What is the longest series you have read?

Most definitely A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I loved this series and it kind of kept me reading during my school years. When I finished one book, i'd go to school and rush home because I knew my mum would go out and buy me the next one! It was really exciting and the books in that series are only small so they were quick reads with fantastic illustrations at the beginning of each chapter.

I think that it was highly addictive because each book is a different adventure and there are clear defining plots in each book as well as an overall series plot. So book one is about Count Olaf and meeting him, book two is Uncle Marty and the snakes, book three is Aunt Josephine and the Lake. Even now I remember each individual book.

So what about you? Did you enjoy the series? Do you wish it was shorter?

That's it for this week's Tuesday Talks!
