Today, I bring you a haul! I'm supposed to be following this pact I made myself but unfortunately I just can't turn down a book bargain. If you want to see the details of my pact, the video is just below and if you like it go hit that subscribe button. Eternal internet hugs if you do.
So anyway, here are the beauties that I have bought in April.
I picked up To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee for just £3.99 in Costco. I have never read this classic book so I had to have that bargain and ensure that I can read the sequel in July when it is released.
I then bought City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare, the sixth book in The Mortal Instruments series, to finish off my collection (and also because it was just £2.99 in The Works!).
The rest of the books I bought online from WHSmith. I had to get the 3 books I was missing from Malorie Blackman's, Noughts & Crosses Series, which are: Knife Edge (#2), Checkmate (#3) and Double Cross (#4), because I read Noughts & Crosses in February and couldn't get enough of it.
I also bought the sequel to These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner (also read in February), which is This Shattered World. I seriously cannot wait to read it, I've been on a Fantasy/SciFi kick lately and LOVE IT!
Continuing with my SciFi kick, I bought Ready Player One by Ernest Cline to read during #AYearAThon, however it didn't really work out because the book only arrived on Thursday and I was adamant to read A Storm of Swords.
My purse strings are tightly closed now and will be hopefully until I have more room for a bookcase or inevitably move house...
I hope you enjoyed this haul and you can check out my video version on my BookTube channel or below, right here:
